Opportunity Snapshot
This unique role offers you the opportunity to assume leadership of solidly performing sales programs for two stations and gives you an opportunity to take them to the next level. You will lead all sales processes for both stations, including new business development and interactive sales for our websites. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have significant sales management experience, including demonstrated success achieving measurable results. We're looking for a professional who can embrace the dynamic changes under way in the television industry and develop ways not merely to adapt, but also to take advantage. You will need to be a strategic thinker as well as a hands-on leader, and you'll also need a clear understanding of pricing, inventory management, and budgeting.
WRGB and WCWN are part of the Broadcasting division of FCI, the nation's 12th largest media corporation. Freedom Broadcasting owns 8 television stations reaching more than 3.5 million households across the country.

What's in It for You
Corporate resources, entrepreneurial agility -- Freedom is taking a proactive approach to embracing the future of broadcasting in order to stay on the leading edge of a rapidly changing industry. This includes granting each business unit a strong degree of autonomy to remain responsive to the local market.
High impact -- this a key position in both stations, and you'll be part of our senior leadership team. Rather than operating "in silos," our management team takes a collaborative approach to creating synergies across department lines.

Albany is about 3 hours from Boston or Philadelphia, about 2.5 hours from New York City, and about 2 hours from skiing in Vermont.
Excellent compensation -- we offer a competitive salary, incentive potential, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and life insurance; a 401(k) plan; and more.
